Nadja Piatka made a dream come true armed only with an idea. Her tale of taking a company out of her kitchen with a $100 investment and creating a multi-million dollar lowfat food manufacturing company that became an international supplier to Subway and McDonald's was recently highlighted on Oprah. As an unemployable mother of two in 1993 she grew her business, Nadja Foods, from her kitchen to becoming a supplier to McDonald's, Subway, Sodexho and public schools in North America.
